While still studying in University, Wolfgang Krainer began in 1973 as a self-employed Tennis instructor in Feld am See and Vienna. He then built a Tennis facility and opened a Surfing school “with 3 surfboards” at Brennssee.

In 1990 the Feld am See - Verditz ski school was uprooted and moved to Bad Kleinkirchheim-Bach where the business was further expanded.

Due to the multi-faceted services offered in Summer (Surfing, Mountainbiking, Tennis and so on), the sport school in Feld am See-Millstätter See

In the past 30 years, Manuela & Wolfang Krainer have succeeded in establishing the sport school as one of the best known businesses in the Tourism Industry.

The Krainer's motto “Sport with friends” and “Everything for the guest” ensures every success.

In 1965 Jacob Wulsching established the Skischool St. Oswald/Nockalm which was the first in St. Oswald. On 1. 1. 2000  his son Martin Wulschnig took over the management reigns.

In 1972 St. Oswalds first sport shop „Nocksport“ was opened in the same building. This was then successfully changed over to Intersport Wulschnig in 1994. At the same time, in collaboration with Intersport Gruber, the company GW Gruber & Wulschnig was founded, which now runs the Ski rental Intersport Rent in Bad Kleinkirchheim.

In the July of 2003 the Krainer & Wulschnig families decided to jointly form a ski school at the Kaiserburg location and thereby established Ski- & Sportschulen GmbH.

Through the merger it is possible to offer guests of the ski school, sport shops and equipment rental a single source for all their requirements.

Wir want to do everything possible for our customers and often do “that little bit extra”.
A good marketing strategy only makes sense when is succeeds in meeting these expectations on the snow.

The ski instructor spends relatively a lot of time with the guest and can easily recognise any potential dissatisfaction and make the necessary countermeasures to prevent this.

The ability to speak foreign languages as well as an enthusiasm for the sport, should all be skills held by a snow sport instructor. The prerequisite, of course, is a complete training in additon to a willingness to learn and constantly improve.

The Ski- & Sportschulen GmbH is situated in 4 locations. In order to provide the perfect service, it is vital that in all locations the “same language” is spoken....
